Swamp Guardians

Cypress trees apparently stand tall for a remarkably long time after they appear to be dead. I don't have any facts about this, mere observations. Their limbs fall off and that's about it. This particular one in a GA swamp, was cloaked in moss which gave it a regal presence. The way the moss entwined itself around the trunk, compelled me to give it a voice.
